1. Backspace pawl holding on escapement rack in- stead of escapement pawl. |
Adjust clearance between back- space pawl (73-46) and backspace rack with backspace bellcrank screw (82-15). |
Clearance approximately .010". |

1. Backspace pawl holding on escapement rack in stead of escapement pawl.

Adjust keylever pawl and express backspace latch to release and hold the backspace interposer, until the express keybutton is released. |
When the express keybutton is released the backspace mechanism will be activated. |
